The Changing Nature of Work

How will management, employees and the culture of the firm need to change?

In this domain, we have mostly explored the human side of IT, including CIO role types, the dynamics of effective IT teams, the impact of an increasingly multi-generational IT workforce and strategies for energizing and engaging employees.  We have also assessed cultural issues such as the social organization, business transparency, sustainability, and the blurring of the lines between marketing and IT. In 2014, we argued that leadership and digital leadership are becoming one and the same.  In 2015, we will take this research forward by assessing digital leadership at the CXO level, with a special focus on the ability of traditional executives to embrace increasingly strategic digital challenges and opportunities.
